A comprehensive 2-day perioperative point-of-care ultrasound course combining self-directed online learning with extensive hands-on training.

Participants receive access to approximately 8 hours of pre-course online learning, including:
- Basic Point-of-Care Ultrasound
- Focused Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
- Lung Ultrasound
- Gastric Ultrasound
- FAST Examination
- Airway Ultrasound
- Diaphragm Ultrasound
The online learning component is delivered through USabcd and is designed to prepare participants for the intensive hands-on workshop in Toronto.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to:
- Describe the basic principles of ultrasound imaging for airway assessment.
- Acquire lung ultrasound skills for evaluating hypoxemia.
- Apply gastric ultrasound to assess gastric contents and volume.
- Recognize intra-abdominal free fluid in trauma.
- Perform focused TTE to assist in the evaluation of shock states.
